Tips for using Fridge and Freezer

1.Place the refrigerator away from heating equipment, heater vents as well as direct sunlight 2.Clean the door gasket of fridge with warm water 3.If your fridge and freezer is full then you can save on energy 4.When you place your food items in the fridge, make sure to allow some ample space between them. 5.Clean your refrigerator on a regular basis (at least every two weeks) paying special attention to the bottom shelves for things that may have dripped or fallen. 6.If possible install a thermometer in the refrigerator which will help you to constantly monitor the temperature. 7.Never leave perishable items in the refrigerator if you are going away for more than a few days. 8.Don’t change the temperature too often. 9.Be sure stored foods are tightly wrapped. 10.Foods should be contained and stored in a refrigerator or freezer within two hours after cooking. 11.In most cases, it is better to wash produce just before eating. If washed prior to storing in the refrigerator, the moisture can accelerate spoilage
